I have let this blog sit for so long. Checking in on it periodically and as you see randomly changing shit up here and there. There was no direction, literally, I was lost as fuck with a mind full of stories. 

I had no idea what the hell I was doing when I started all this, I knew I liked to write, make people laugh and inspire. There was no plan and when life hit it hit freaking hard man and down I went. Blogging was NOT a priority. I pushed it aside and kept on truckin. All the while a burning urge to talk too spill the beans and let this shit out! 

When I say I have no fucking idea, I truly mean that. Life has sucked me in and grabbed me by the balls. I am over here lost as shit my friends and finally, well finally the words are flying out. 

The underdog

I never really gave it much thought.
To me this was just my son living his dream, pursuing the avenues of 
his thoughts and aspiring to be a man of much greatness.
And then, I read this post his manager made :

That is when it all hit me, he is the true definition:

He has always been the doubted one. 
The one everyone blamed for everything because he had a bad attitude, 
was defiant and hated school.

This kid was a tough one, there were many tears shed and days I thought how in the hell 
are we going to do this, BUT we did.

The underdog, the one no body thought would amount to anything other than a life 
of violence and jail time. 

All of this simply based on his appearance and voicetress personality. 
His talent not only shines through in his music  but in his art, his many tattoos most of which he has done himself. 
This is a young adult of many colors and a heart of gold, this is my son.
You simply cannot judge a book by its cover.

It takes something special to keep going when all odds are stacked against you.

There is a certain kind of fight in a person who can simply never give up and
walk through fire like they were made for that shit.
It is times like now that I can say from a parents view, stick by your children no matter what,have their back, be there for them, show you care even when they do not want to be shown, never let them think you have given up on them, always push them to be the best version of themselves and never ever ever try to make them something they are not, accept them just the way they are!!!
It is now I can smile through all the bad and say this is what it's all about!

I am so PROUD!

Over a month later

It's like time just literally is in over drive every single day of my life.

I have list upon list of things to do and deadlines that expired long ago.

Making time to worry about calories or exercise is nonexistent.

I wish I could say it wasn't but I am not here to sugar coat life with a troop for you
 It is down right hard as F!
On a positive note I am down 3 whopping pounds and no that is not from anything spectacular.
This here is real life peeps, sometimes you have so many amazing thoughts and just no time to put them into action.
This was much easier as a stay at home mom.
My days go something like this...


All in bed by 9pm, me asleep somewhere in the middle of dinner being cleaned up and showers.
Now where in the hell does this exercise routine come in!?



Swear I have the grandest of intentions but never have the time to make them happen.
So my motto has just been do what you can with what you have.
With this thought process I have been able to at least make sure to squeeze in some push ups a few days a week and some squats.
I already pretty much eat healthy, I always have.
I love all that weird stuff that comes with the label HEALTHY, so that helps.
Truth be told I am in the same boat as probably hundreds or thousands of other working moms who cant find the time to fit themselves in.
I am sure some schedules are 5 times worse then mine.
So ladies here is a new motto for us.

BINGO
And just like that I have it all figured out.
Pretty much what I am tryin to say here is... Life is way to short to worry to much about all this exercise jazz.
 Stay healthy, eat the right stuff to fuel your body and keep it movin, that's what ya have to do.
Then one day when the monkeys are all grown you will have all the time you need for you.
BOOM!!!

Sausage Mistakes

A tradition straight from the kitchen of my very own mother.

These are an all time fave!

{Recipe}

1 loaf cocktail party rye

1 lb of mild or hot breakfast sausage

1 large jar of cheese whiz (Velveeta works just as well)

{How to}

Fry sausage until thoroughly done, drain

mix in cheese whiz until completely coated

spread on bread, approx 1 tbsp each piece

leave open face and  

Bake @ 350 until cheese slightly browns

Leftovers can be frozen

These are a great appetizer and sure to please an entire crowd!!
